In my previous post on the random tripping of GFCI in HVAC equipment. I had mentioned that I had discovered a correlation between the refrigerant conductivity in hermetic compressors and the motor windings, that might be responsible for this phenomenon. Attached is the article I referenced. See item No. 4 where this is also mentioned as a possibility. We will have to wait until September 1, 2026, or latter to find out.

Also, could this TIA 1653, be applied to refrigerators and other hermetic appliances until this study is completed ?
