I have a customer who purchased a used commercial oven and wants to install it in his business that has 120/240V single phase service. The nameplate is 208-230V 11kw. It lists the blower motor as 208V single phase. I don't feel that the increased voltage will have an adverse affect on the heating elements, but will it be too high for the motor? Really didnt want to have to bring a step down xfmr into the picture, any thoughts. Thanks.

I dont see a problem. The nameplate voltage would include the blower motor as well and since it is 208-230 there should not be an issue.
