Hey, guess whose back??? OK, yeah its me, I have a question. Can the Show Window track lights be counted as the Receptacle Outlets required in 210.62?

As per 100, I don't think so but that is why I am here. Lay it on me.

No, those recpts. are not for lights, they are there to prevent ex-cords on

the floor likely to cause phyical injury.

I think your right on. I can't imagine track lights being regarded as a a contact device installed at the outlet for the connection of an attachment plug.

I would say the track is an Outlet and not a Receptacle.
