210.63 heating, a/c refrig recepts

Does 210.63 apply to commercial indoor units as well as exterior. For instance if you have a furnace mounted on an interior platform say 12' above finished floor level. Would that require a gfi within 25' at the same level as the platform?

Thanks billsnuff.....I'm always thinking exterior / rooftop equip when adding a service receptacle. I forgot about platform mounted equipment needing an outlet as well.
