225.31 - questions??

So I have an unattached shed in my back yard, pulled a single 20 Amp ckt out there and now am wondering if 225.31 applies - wouldn't I fit in under the Ex. 1 verbage where I'm "single management" , and although I don't have documented switching procedures - the procedures are established - (only dad gets to touch the lighting panel)!! Dumb question or not ??

Applying the exception would also require "monitored by qualified individuals" so dad would need to be there 24/7 :)
Enforcement of the requirement or allowing the exception would be a call for the local AHJ.
Since you are using a branch circuit for the example, a snap switch can serve as that disconnecting means so it's a relatively simple install.
On a personal note, the question brings to mind how often I have overlooked the requirement on SF dwellins:)

I guess I'll just throw in a 4 sq box and a snap switch, I just think it seems a little silly to have a disco in my shed when the breaker panel is right down the basement.
