Terminals in meter cans are exposed to my knowledge. I am able to find panels and disconnects with protected terminals but not meter cans

Will this be accepted by ahj. 2020 nec is new to my area

This rule is in Part V, Service Equipment. A meter can is not service equipment and is not covered by this rule.

230.66(B) Meter Sockets.
Meter sockets shall not be considered service equipment but shall be listed and rated for the voltage and current rating of the service.
