Afternoon everyone!
If I have a 2 section gear (one side branch panel, other side is service, main breaker), and they are bolted together, the bus bars bolted together in the field...
... am I able to use the bottom gutter space of the service side to run branch feeders (from branch section) through it (service section) and out the other side? I basically asking if the service side is only able to contain service conductors.
Understanding to make sure we are not voiding UL listing, etc. If I read 230.7 correctly, I would say it is allowed, however it doesn't seem to be an ideal install. Is there anything I am missing that would prevent that from being compliant?
