any comments and/or opinions on the following will be appreciated. On a recent generator survey i encountered the following.
single family home 1200amp 1phase service 240v:
two #6thhn connected to the line side of the 1200 amp main disconnect. these wires terminate adjacent the main in a 60amp fused disconnect for the elevator equipment.I belive that 240-21b (1-4) has been violated ?? i would appreciate everyones feedback

240.21(B) covers feeder taps.

What you describe is not a feeder tap.

What you have are service conductors and assuming they are connected in a compliant manner it should be no problem.

I agree with Bob, and to expand on his statement,
assuming they are connected in a compliant manner it should be no problem.
the only problem I would see is with the lugs not being listed for more than one conductor, if not there are other ways to make the connections.
