2400volt motor feed sizing

I have a 957hp, 2400volt refrigeration compressor, and have a couple of questions regarding sizing of the feed for the motor/starter.

1. Since this motor is an odd size, what is the correct way to determine the FLA by NEC code?

2. What is the correct method (in keeping with the NEC) to determine Medium Voltage cable size for a given ampacity? For instance, table 310.16 is for 0-2000volts, so where is a table for >2000volt applications?

1. Since your motor is not in the tables, I would go with whatever the manufacturer states is the FLA.
2. Start at Table 310.64, and see if you can find your conductor there or in one of the tables that follow.
