25' Tap Rule and ampacity of down stream

making a tap from 2400 amp circuit isn't really practical as a general rule period, unless you have situation where you can easily make a single connection to a full 2400 amp bus bar

I assumed this was a bus bar tap, and that it was a single bus assembly per phase. If not, you are very correct that there would be no practical way to make the tap.
