If I have two buildings on one service.

First building having service entrance equipment and the secound building being feed underground thru PVC.

Do I have to pull a Grounding condutor according to article 250.142

250.142 ???

Try 250.32 for grounding at a separate structure from a common service.

142 will send you back to 32

250.142(B) Load-Side Equipment. Except as permitted in 250.30(A)(1) and 250.32(B), a grounded circuit conductor shall not be used for grounding non?current-carrying metal parts of equipment on the load side of the service disconnecting means

.
This has changed for the 08 code "The rule that permitted the regrounding of the neutral conductor at separate buildings and structures was deleted"

Author's comment: In the 2005 NEC, 250.32(B)(2) permitted the neutral conductor to serve as the effective ground-fault current path. This rule was converted into an exception for existing premises. Using the neutral conductor to connect metal objects to the effective ground-fault current path is a dangerous practice, especially if the neutral becomes open.
