250.24 Intermediate Terminal Box

Just confirming that a terminal box in-between the service meter cabinet and the first disconnect is an acceptable location to make the GEC to neutral connection as per Section 250.24 A(1). See below for quick snip, I have a TB where its pointing to:





The meter to the Terminal box is about 300ft. From the terminal box to the disconnect it is about 15 ft.


Part 2 Question:

If the above is allowed, can the MBJ connection be in the terminal box or does it have to be inside the disconnect?

Yes the GEC can connect to the neutral at your terminal box. The MBJ needs to be in the service disconnect.
