277v single phase motors

I have ran into 277v 1ph motors, such as in hvac, equipment for quite some time, but i recently had 37, 277v fans that consisted of no other electrical components other than the fan itself.
My question is when will we see this voltage choice added to the NEC, FLA charts?

When someone submits a recommended change to the NFPA, and includes sufficient substantiation to convince them to adopt the change.
