3/8" nominal flex. metal conduit

Code Section 350.3
In a non-approved assembly (wires pulled thru) of the subject conduit can a length of more than 6' be used if a separate ground wire (insulated) is run in the conduit, bonded box-to-box?
All conductors are #12 stranded, THHN.

There is no 350.3. Are you asking about 350-3 in the '99 code? If you are asking about flexible metal conduit, it is limited to a maximum of 6' for the 3/8" size, but there is no lenght limit for the larger sizes. An EGC is required for lengths over 6' and a maximum of 360? of bend is permitted between pull points.

You can't use anything that is "non-approved"...see definition. Do you mean "non-listed"?
