Hey guys got got a strange strange one for for a customer

We have a single phase 200 amp service customer wants to add a 3 phase refrigerated trailer. Here is where it gets interesting. Traier wants 480 3 phase at 30 amps.

I am guessing i need to get the 480 by way of a step up transformer and then go to the phase converter.

Anu ideas, and maybe a part number for the phase converter ???

Remember, we do not have 3 phase avilable at the site, it would have to be brought in by the poco (most likely at great expense)

My guess would be to do the phase conversion first, then the step up transformer.

But really I agree with @MTW , let the phase converter manufacturer guide you.

I have a customer that has some 480 volt three phase sawmill equipment with only single phase 480 available. The rotophase manufacturer said they can easily build it for that voltage, so it’s a 480 single phase input, with a 480 three phase output. Trying to get him to buy a property with three phase already available.
