I want to connect a new 5hp rotary phase converter to a 5hp 3-phase table saw I purchased used. The converter wiring schematic showes L1 & L2 through a 2-pole switch then connected to L1 & L2 at the converter and contenuing on to T1 & T2 in a 3-pole switch at the table saw. Then there is a T3 from the converter to T3 in the 3-pole switch (table saw). No grounding is shown on the schematic at all. L1 & L2 will come from a 100a sub panel containing a isolated ground. The sub panel also feeds other circuts. My question is how to ground this system? Do I connect both neutral and ground from the sub panel to the converter frame and then to the saw frame? Wouldn't this negate the ground isolation back at the sub panel? Please help.
