Hello All,
Here's my scenario:
I have a 3 wire 240 volt 50 amp at the main that was used previously for an oven. I want to re purpose this to a sub panel to have a few 15 amp 240 lines. The sub panel will be in the basement, so no conduit between the main and the sub panel.
The question is related to neutral and grounding. Should the neutral and ground be bonded in the sub panel, or should they be separate?
If separate, when wiring the 220 volt outlet should the ground on the outlet be to the ground in the panel or the neutral.
Thanks.
