Type in a search engine AFCI, and you will be able to locate an article that discusses just what you have questioned.
Yeah, I know they're recreated that situation, but I have yet to read about a real fire who's root cause was determined to be an overdriven staple.

Dag-gone, is this site ever slow tonight.

Thiel brand has how many and what type written on the box.

No offense but when ever I see those plastic staples GB staples.
I think a home owner has been doing work in their.
90% of full time reisdential electricians use the metal staples.

I've personally driven a metal staple to hard and damaged the romex. I've never driven a plastic staple too hard, nor have I had a call back from one. I also think the two small nails drive easier and faster the a metal staple. There's also no learning curve for apprentices on plastic staples, but here sure is on metal ones.

Do you reject wire nuts and wago's too?

I've always done 3 14/2's under a staple and never had a problem with the staple coming out or with an inspector.
