314.20 ?

I had a fun discussion at work the other day about article 314.20 NEC 2008. This section refers to boxes not being set back of the finished surface more than 1/4". I know it says more than that, but the discussion was, according to the NEC, can you set flush-type panelboards back more than 1/4" in a noncombustible wall?

Thanks for the info. We all agreed you must fallow the 1/4" rule for panelboards, but I could not find the specific article. 408.2 covers it for sure. Thanks again.
