It’s not a trick.. if the nominal current is only 5 amps what does the momentary AmpsIs this a trick question?
It lists all the momentary current draws at the different voltages.
Steady state is less than 5 amps.

This is all the informationTell the client to give you all the information. This is like asking what size tire should I use.
Well it's not enough. This is all the information
Then why is Shaneyj so confident..? which one of you are rightWell it's not enough.

I’m tapping off a panel that’s near by but I was planning on the single phase 208 but I can’t install a 200amp breaker in a 100amp panel that’s dumb also that size wire for only a 5amp current draw? This is what confused me about all of itThe momentary is just what it sounds like. And I would guess they give you that info because you need to size your circuit accordingly to avoid nuisance tripping. You need an installation and operations manual.
And you also need to know what the service type is, I.e. single or 3 phase, 208, 230, etc.

Neither would I and after years of doing medical installations I would not design a circuit without the manufactures information.I’m not gonna run 200amps if it only draws 5 amps so what the momentary current mean
