We have kind of a little joke that glueing PVC fittings is against company policy. Not 100% but nipples like you mentioned would be an "after Glue"

Considering Arlington sells a fitting that makes an expansion fitting out of a 2.5" RNC slid over a 2" RNC I don't see this as a big deal.

That is great for bottom of equipment installation only in a wet location......Just trying to clarify.

No.

I am pointing out that you use two pieces of raceway you provide and just slip them together no glue, no fitting (at the overlap)

The site per Arlington mentions it "glues" on to the riser.....bingo Pierre
