Hi guys I have never had to install an expansion sleeve AFTER all equipment was installed. Anyone have any tips to make this go as smooth as possible???

Take out the wires.
Cut out a section of pipe, compress the expansion fitting and install.

That’s what I figured was the norm. My only worry is removing the feeders from the meter stack (750MCM). There is a 90 approx 24” under the stack so it’s a tight area. As long as the is the “norm” for retrofitting them I should be ok. I just don’t like having to struggle with thick wire and don’t want to damage it.

Don't know how you are going to this without removing or pulling back the wires.
700 I hope there not Copper.

Yes it is copper. Another idea I had was to cut the feeders at the bottom of the meter stack and just splice together once the expansion joint is on.
