Looking into pricing a whole house stand by generator .

Looking for input pros/cons of using a single 400A switch vs 2 200 amp switches.

My concern is running through the dwelling interior (90’) to the opposite end of the house and having the 400 A main ahead of the 4/0 Al conductors.

Is there a Dual breaker switch available ?
2- 200A Mains?

Suggestions appreciated

Was trying to find a way to not have to set another disconnect/ over current means after the transfer switch for the other panel at the opposite end of the house.
