Looking at a job that involves 4160 generator and the conduit is going to be a bugger to run. 710-04 is not clear on aluminum conduit and in the new book that section is gone. Is it acceptable to run 5kv 133% shielded in aluminum conduit and what section in the new code would it be found?

Aluminum conduit is classified as a rigid metal conduit.

I don't see any issues relating to the cable in aluminum conduit with the information provided.
