1.) NEC Section/Paragraph: Article 422.12
2.) Proposal Recommends: add new text
3.) Proposal: Add new text to the exception: and the service receptacle required by 210.63
4.) Substantiation: This will bring 422.12 and 210.63 into agreement. This will also legalize a common field practice of installing a service receptacle, not used for auxillary equipment, to be connected to the line side of the branch circuit feeding the equipment.
