Is zinc combustible?
This is what I found.
450.21 Dry-Type Transformers Installed Indoors.
(A) Not over 112 1⁄2 kVA. Dry-type transformers installed
indoors and rated 112 1⁄2 kVA or less shall have a separation
of at least 300 mm (12 in.) from combustible material unless
separated from the combustible material by a fireresistant,
heat-insulated barrier.
Exception: This rule shall not apply to transformers rated
for 600 volts, nominal, or less that are completely enclosed,
with or without ventilating openings.

Now, I am a bit confused?
Are we talking about a sink that would be 3' from the transformer?
Transformer is in a future lunch room, there is a water zink near as picture show, room is very small so everything is close to each other. I thinking on remove the bar top installed above transformer so employees don't put water, coffee, sodas cups on there. but still worrying me the water faucet. Thank you
