My project has a 450KW Generator 480/277V 4W, with 1000A breaker. I am using 4 sets of 400kcmil in 2-4" conduits. Then tapping that into 2-400A fused Safety Sw's. One Safety feeds ATS with solid neutral and the other feeds Fire Pump ATS. How do you land neutrals and grounding conductors at the generator and disconnect switches?

450 KW @ 480 = 540 amps 1000 amp breaker?

How do you land neutrals and grounding conductors at the generator and disconnect switches?

Do the transfer switches switch the neutral or not?

The generator supplied said owner requested 1000A breaker. They said generator would just shut down if overloaded. The neutrals are solid not switched

Neutral Bonding

Neutral Bonding

Then all you do is connect the EGC to the generator frame and leave the neutral isolated.

Do you mean don't use bonding jumper from neutral bar in safety sw to equipment grounding?

You remove the bonding conductor from the Gen neutral to frame connection.
Use the system EGC to ground the Gen frame. Connect the Gen neutral to the neutral position in the switch.
