List,

I'm comming up on a situation that will require one 480 3 phase feed and one 120 volt receptical about 200 feet from the electrical room both voltages are available at. Aside from the extra derate incurred due to adding a 4th current carring conductor, does anyone think this is a code violation?

As long as the insulation on the conductors is rated for 300v or greater.

We have alot of motors at our plant that run 120v to a emergency stop switch in the same conduit as the 3ph 480v power.

Not that it makes a difference to the derating value, but unless you are planning on using a common neutral for both the 480V and 120V circuits you will be adding both a 4th and a 5th CCC.
