Have a customer with a 480 35kv power supply that needs to be used 20 ft. from power source they need to bring it outside of building for testing l.e.d. signs that were built on premises cannot hardwire because of 6 ft whip rule, is there a cord and plug that can handle 73 amps or any ideas? any website where to order cord that size? TIA

the first thing that comes to mind are pin and sleave connections, but your customer will probley choke on the price...

I think you can get SOOW large enough for what you need
Last time I did this - 4 years ago - a C-H 4c, 480v, 100A pin and sleeve doesn't fit 4c-#2 SO. So I call the CH tech support and chew on him for this obivous flaw in C-H engineering - I can't be the first person to have run into this.:-?
He gently reminds me that #2 SO is only good for 80A. I really need to look at Type G or W - they will fit

The Meltrics line is becoming more commonly used as well, I find them easier to connect/disconnect than the Hubbell versions...
