Not just acceptable, required. 110.3(B)
110.3(B) can kiss my rear, I'm using a SG38A to terminate my HCFMC. Just pointing out the amusing things we run across.
I think it might be fun to mess with your inspector.
Wait until Southwire sees that unauthorized use of their trademarked term
They were cranky about the use of "romex" on a HI forum that I rarely visit, wanted either NM or Romex? used if I recall correctly. Southwire does need to protect their trademark, guard it or lose it.
Aspirin?.
Bayer lost protection to the term aspirin as part of the treaty of Versailles that ended WWI, so it is not trademarked in the US.
That's not even a Romex connector pictured. It is an MC/AC connector!
