Hello, is there a typo/misprint in the NEC article 517.44(B)(3) where it says additional illumination, receptacles and equipment shall be permitted to be connected only to the critical branch? I'm looking at the 2020 handbook.
The note after this section references NFPA 99 6.7.6.2.1.6(E) which (2018 version) has the same statement however critical is replaced with equipment.
Should the NEC match the statement in NFPA 99? I believe it should as this section applies to a type 2 essential electrical system where there is no critical branch?
