Does the NEC require receptacles inside the restroom of a Patient room or waiting rooms to be hospital grade ?
These are not patient bed locations I know, however the restroom can become a treatment area and more than likely will. :confused:

I think you meant to cite ?517.18(B).? The NEC does not require there to be a receptacle in the patient bathroom. If one is there, it is not required to be hospital grade.? That term applies to bed locations.
