Now that I look at it, the column said "Feet per Pound" and as I scanned it (instead of reading slowly) I read pound per foot. DUH! Thanks for the correction.

IMO it's unlikely that a 2.5" C condulet would allow you pull out and feed back in 6-#3/0's.
