I was wondering if someone could confirm this for me, or set me straight. From my understanding of 680.22 I will NOT need a GFCI breaker on the circuit for the pool pump.

- In ground pool
- Pool Pump receptacle greater than 10 feet from the water edge
- Circuit is 240V fed from a 2-pole 10A breaker
- NEC 2008

From reading 680.22, it appears that since the circuit is feed from a breaker that is not 15 or 20 amps, it does not need to be GFCI protected.

Is this correct?

Thanks,
Buzz
