I was asked this in a I.M. and question myself on past practice vs the Code wording.
680.23(F) states in part::: the equipment ground‐ ing conductor shall be permitted to terminate on grounding terminals on the transformer, ground-fault circuit interrupter, clock-operated switch enclosure, or an outlet box used to enclose a snap switch.
With that wording in mind, it is permissible to use a wire-nut to connect the pool light switch grounding terminal and bond jumper to the box when installing the equipment grounding conductor to the pool light j box or would some type terminal bar need to be sued at that location ??

I don't think a wirenut would suffice. The rule is the EGC has to be unspliced to/from the pool light. The exception allows it to be on a terminal for the listed items, or the hole for the EGC in an outlet box under certain circumstances.
