I have a questions about 75KVA 480/208 3Ph transformer.
The transformer is feed circuit breaker on meter center on the first floor.
CB is sized 125A (75/0.831 x 1.25= 112.82A).
The distance from meter center to transformer is about 120'.

I have some questions:

1. Can I locate the 75KVA transformer on the second floor above the suspending ceiling? Any special requirements for ventilation? Can the transformer be hang mounted? Is this possible?

2. Do I have to provide the main disconnect adjacent to transformer on the primary side? (I propose the transformer is protected by CB on the first floor)
On the second side I propose 3ph 225A MCB Panel.

Thank you in advance!

There may be difference of opinions on (1.) depending on how 450.12(B) is enforced in your area.
Method of installing would be more a mechanical/architectual question.
As far a (2.) is concerned, as long as you meet the requirements of 240.14(B), I see no problem.

1) No, because of what I think that Augie meant 450.13(B).

2) No, it's not required to be adjacent to, or within sight of the transformer.
