80% rated breakers

At the risk of sounding or being stupid, I can't seem to find a reference to 80% rated breakers other than 215.2(A)(1) under the exception where is states that the assembly (including the circuit breaker) must be rated for the continuous load. The only other section is 230.208(B) where it states that the restriction to 80% of the breaker rating does not apply for continuous loads for protective devices installed insystems over 600V. Is there a specific section that addresses this without "dancing" about?

Thanks!

210.19(B)(1) of the 2008 code.

i think there are also some references in the 400 series articles: Like the appliances and heating equipment articles.

Although I think 215.2(A)(1) seems to be pretty clear. I'm not sure why you think it is dancing around the issue????
