I know I was always told that its not what you know, but who you know. But this is just ridiculous!! I was on another project with my employer doing a some work for the state. I Find out that some of the employees with the state are related, Father and son, Father and daughter!! Basically 3 dads, 2 have sons working and 1 has his daughter working. In the same department even! These are good jobs with good benefits, in a slow economy. I wonder about the other people that applied for these jobs, (Ive been told there were more qualified people applying) .
I could see maybe 1, Even 2 times this happening with family members, BUT 3??!!
I wonder what the news stations would think of this issue, I always thought this was illegal, conflict of interest. State jobs for family businesses. Anyone else see this happen?? Oh by the way this IS NOT a small town
