Ok, we are installing a 600a service. Service comes from a utility transformer to our 600a disconnect outside the building, from there inside electrical room to a MDP. Ive never done it this way before, only from utility transformer straight into building to a switchgear. On a switch gear you would bond your grounded conductor to your switchgear via main bonding jumper. Since our 600a disconnect is going to be bonded outside building do you still bond MDP inside?

Once you leave the main disconnect you must run an egc (equipment grounding conductor) with your feeders and they must be separated from the grounded conductor. The grounded conductor should not be bonded in the second panel

You must learn, the reason "WHY" all EGC's,and all available electrodes are bonded to the "Service" and "Service" only. You will never "Learn"
from "Yes" or "No" answers. It is always the understanding of the "Why's",
that really educate.

As Dennis said once you go past the service disconnect you wiring now becomes a feeder. Your grounded and grounding conductors must be separate and the additional bonding requirements for metallic service raceways will not apply. Also your GEC will go back to the service disconnect on the outside of the building.

OP didn't mention a meter or CT cabinet. What if this 600 amp switch is a "cold sequence meter disconnect" for POCO purposes ?
In that case would the MDP not be considered the "service disconnect" ?
