why can't we get a UL listing for the cabinet door so we don't have to mess with the listed panel cover.We could also save the home moaner some money since we won't need to buy the list cover. ;)

The OP's photo did show some nice workmanship, but was the conversion done w/a permit??? That is the $64,000 question that everyone prob. knows the answer to.

Is that a 4-wire feeding this panel? What size are the conductors?

Never assume anything, first, the cable you are referring to is actually a feeder for another panel in the house, The meter is directly behind this panel, not sure how this mechanical room ended up becoming a kitchen, but it did. :) And besides that, how would we even know what the load is to even consider it to be looking overloaded?

Never assume anything, first, the cable you are referring to is actually a feeder for another panel in the house, The meter is directly behind this panel, not sure how this mechanical room ended up becoming a kitchen, but it did. :) And besides that, how would we even know what the load is to even consider it to be looking overloaded?

There may have been a permit when panel was installed, likely was not when the kitchen was added.
