Interesting.
A 'C' Clamp usually made of iron which forms a loop itself. One would think that they would get hotter than a pistol depending how much current is flowing through the circuit they are clamped on to just by the simple induction of current flow within the clamp.
 
Cooper-Bussmann sells a listed product for the same function.
Actually the Bussmann product is to hold the fuse in during periods of high vibration. There is no commercially available product 'listed' for improving/correcting poor fuse clip contact pressure.

At least they noticed there are two springs in the fuse clip and enough c-clamps.:grin:
