thats why you gotta use 22 guage phone wire, never try it with 18 guage t/stat wire

What I would like to know is how the 16AWG was spliced to the 00 and where he landed the 00 in the panel.

If it was a Ham, he soldered it. They solder everything.

I've had to explain that moving a receptacle or a switch to the other side of the door isn't as simple as unscrewing it from the wall and screwing it into the wall at the new location.
