We are experiencing intermittent 2340 faults on multiple installations of ACS880-104 inverters. This happens mainly when the motor is initially started, but has happened a few times in the middle of operations. These drives are all powering 1600HP motors in drilling rig applications. The cable/motor have been meggered and tested fine, all connections have been checked, inverters have been racked out and inspected, switching frequency has been adjusted according to ABB suggestions. Has anyone else been experiencing this issue?

I don't have experience with those drives, but I found the following that indicates there's a binary word that can show the location of an internal short circuit, if present:
