A young fellow like you with short term memory loss.
Thank you for the compliment. But perhaps I'm not that young. After all, I am old enough to remember what "LSMFT" means.

Also, my experiences with memory loss are not "short term." Once I've forgotten it, it stays forgotten for a long time.

When I was a kid we had a saying that went a little like this, Loose Straps Means ??.
The real words would sound a little like this;
Lucky Strike Means Fine Tobacco the brand that I started smoking with (non filters)
I later changed to Chesterfields (non filter) and then went with Marlboro 100s

What would any of this have to do with electricity except to mean that LSMFT will lead to the use of medical equipment and 517 of the NEC.
:)

By-the-way Charlie I think you have a great idea

I seem to have my boss always tell me to make sure I understand that HE is the HMFIC and I darn well better remember it ...
LMAO

And I like the G-rated version of LMAO, by the way. :)

You forgot MDP = Main Disconnect Panel.

noon is PM.
No it isn't. "PM" means "Post Meridian," and is Latin for "after midday." On the other hand, "AM" means "Ante Meridian," and is Latin for "before midday." Noon is neither after nor before midday; it is midday. By the same token, neither AM nor PM can be applied to midnight.

Noon is kind of like a point in space. As soon as you try and define it, it is no longer just a point, it occupies space and there for has some sort of dimension. You can not even be at midday for a fraction of a second, because as soon as you realize your there it's to late and it is now PM.

Really great help Charlie.
Just one pedantic, picky correction: Underwriters has dropped the possessive apostrophy decades ago in an attempt to show their independence from insurance companies.

Charlie,
I understand your desire to make this a 'quick pick' list. One little item noticed, your OP includes NETA. I did a search and found 21 instances. Didn't see NESC, which returned 173 instances. FYI, the NETA search did not find this thread. Inexplicable...

Hey, buddy, up to you what to make of it!
