Hello, i have a question about a wire method in load center.
312.6 Deflection of Conductors.
(B) Wire-Bending Space at Terminals. Wire-bending space
at each terminal shall be provided in accordance with
312.6(B)(1) or (B)(2).
(1) Conductors Not Entering or Leaving OppositeWall.
Table 312.6(A) shall apply where the conductor does not
enter or leave the enclosure through the wall opposite its
terminal.
(2) Conductors Entering or Leaving Opposite Wall. Table
312.6(B) shall apply where the conductor does enter or
leave the enclosure through the wall opposite its terminal.
I reviewed handbooks, and the common practice I found load centers wiring from the bottom up to the terminals.
110.8 Wiring Methods. Only wiring methods recognized as suitable are included in this Code. The recognized methods of wiring shall be permitted to be installed in any type of building or occupancy, except as otherwise provided in this Code.

My question is: not mentioned is because it is allowed or not allowed? I think its not allowed, but i want to know why? Maybe becase feeders can produce heating on branch circuit, or maybe the number of bending on the conductor? I hope can help me to understand that. :)

It is allowed and is quite common.

The bending space required has little to do with how much space it takes to actually bend the conductors. It is somewhat of a misnomer.

I believe the proper phrase would be 'bending space at terminations'.
