can i now go from rigid to emt ?
above ground gas tank...leaving class 1 div 1 to to unclssified area

Will you have a seal fitting at or beyond the class 1 boundary?
I believe you can have a sealing fitting on either side of boundary but if on hazard location side you will not be able to use the EMT, and will have to use RMC or IMC with no fittings between seal and boundary.
Once past the seal and boundary you no longer have classified area and can run whatever you wish that is acceptable for conditions of the area.
Make sure you actually have an unclassified area and not a class 2 area adjacent to the class 1 area.
