Above Ground on Ground Pool Bonding

No problem...and we were asking the same question. Little bills response is my interpretation too... always need the perimeter bond and Dons last response is what I also believed to be an interpretation of the codes intent - attach the available point on pool - (if only available point) to the perimeter. Hopefully future cycles will address this situation.
You have a chance to make that happen. The NFPA is accepting Public Inputs to make changes for the 2026 code until 9/7/23.
Go to nfpa.org/70 and click on "submit a public input for next edition"

In regard to the four point bonding that the code calls for when there is a conductive pool shell- If I have a vinyl lined inground pool with metal wall sections that are bolted together, would the four connections still be required or would one connection be sufficient?

4 points not necessary with a vinyl liner.
