AC/DC power supply in plenum—this can't be legal, right?

I'm trying to determine if this falls in Chapter 3. The power supply can put out 35 Amps at 12VDC, but I can't find any ratings on the device or spec sheet for how many amps it draws from the AC socket. My calcs say no, but I'm not quite sure I've got the equation right.

I don't know what that has to do with it. If you look at the back of the Astron, you should see a place for an 8 amp fuse. That tells me the unit draws less than 8 amps.

that's 960 watts in and 420 watts out.
8*120
35*12

At a 50 percent duty cycle.

You can figure a little less in the real world, but what does this have to do with the NEC? I must really be missing something.

I believe the concern is whether that equipment is allowed to be installed in a return air plenum.
