Does anyone have or know where I can obtain a database populated with Field Technologist items? (i.e. circuit breaker timing, hipot, relay timing, doble, etc...) I bid on a lot of industrial jobs with commissioning and testing playing a large role.

Another question re. Accubid: Where do you include your LOA? I've been classing it as a GenExp using a factor based on Total Direct Labour Hours. I've also seen LOA included as a Frng$ under DirLb...

The last contractor I worked did a lot of this type of work. I always had to create a temporary item for those. Sorry, I know that doesn't help you at all. You could always create permanent temporary items through you database manager if you wanted to.

I agree with your method I use Accubid and just build new assemblies for whatever system I am doing. As long as you have an idea of what the time frame is for setting up equipment you just use that as a labor factor.
