Acronyms for P and ID?s

Any body have a web page to look for Process Identification Acronyms definitions. Kind of to verify that what my interpretation of the P and ID make sense.....
Currently working for PCL, building a 50 million Waste water treatment plant, I will be keeping records for the Start up process for the next six months.

As noted by Jraef in another of your threads, there is no standard for P&ID acronyms. If it is not in the Abbreviations section/sheet of the drawings, its time for an RFI...

Use your favorite search engine and your phrase "Process Identification Acronyms definitions".

The page link Marc listed is a shell web cite for that phrase, IOW's it a shell site that someone thought could later be sold, there is no signiciant information at this site.

P and ID, means, piping and instrument drawings, PID's show all process piping and the instruments in the process lines, including elevation and exact location of piping and instruments.

The drawings that are called PIDs at the plant I work with do not show any location information. They show the pipe sizes, instruments, tanks, motors and that type of information, maybe they should be more correctly called process flow diagrams, but around here they are called PIDs.
